I am married to a man who is from Mexico. We had a son together, and he was later deported. We are now split up and he lives in Mexico and I returned to the U.S. I want to divorce him, but does anyone know how that works considering we’ve been split up for 2 years and have not lived together or spoke to each other in that amount of time?

Nothing you can do about it if he is not a legal citizen. You should just move on with your life. If you are hoping to get child support from an illegal immigrant it wont happen, trust me.
